2001 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD LS 4x4, finished in Light Pewter Metallic with a tan interior. This Silverado comes equipped with dual rear wheels, a chromed grille and bumpers, a 4x4 drivetrain with electronically operated transfer case, leather upholstery, and a trailer hitch, among other features.Modifications reported by the selling dealer include a Hypertech chip with a Stage 1 tune. This Silverado is otherwise unmodified.Chevrolet introduced the first-generation Silverado for the 1999 model year, and it added the heavy-duty 2500 and 3500 models to the line-up for 2001. The ground-up redesign brought updated engines, fresh styling, and a more polished cabin that made one of America's best-selling vehicles much more comfortable to drive daily. Offered as a bare-bones workhorse, a luxurious camper hauler, and a dizzying number of configurations in between, the original Silverado represented a major leap forward in the truck segment.Power comes from a 6.6-liter Duramax turbodiesel V8 engine, rated at 300 horsepower and 520 lb-ft of torque. Due to the modifications performed to this Silverado, it may produce more power, but a dyno sheet was not provided to confirm. It spins the 4 wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission.
