2004 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG, finished in Tektite Gray with a black interior. Stylists brought the sedan into the 21st century with a much sleeker design, and engineers went to great lengths to make it more enjoyable to drive than its predecessor. The V8-powered E55 reigned over the range by offering supercar-like power, gargantuan brakes, and a long list of luxury features in a subtle package. Power comes from a supercharged 5.4-liter V8, rated at 469 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque when left stock. The modifications likely increase those figures, but a dyno sheet is not available. Hand-built, the V8 spins the rear wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission.
