2000 BMW Z3 2.8i, finished in Titanium Silver Metallic with a black leather interior. BMW kept development costs in check by sourcing some components from the E30 and E36 3 Series parts bins, and it built the Z3 in South Carolina. 1997 brought a 6-cylinder engine to the lineup.For the 2000 model year, a mild restyle of the Z3 included re-contoured wheel arches and revised bumpers, trunk, and rear lights for a wide-body look. Stability control and a fully lined convertible top became standard in 2000, and a (very) brief cameo in the James Bond flick "Goldeneye" added to the mass-appeal of the Z3.Power comes from the 2.8-liter "M52" inline-6, which produces 193 horsepower and 206 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.
