1996 Volvo 850 R Sedan, finished in Black Stone with a black interior. Modifications reported by the seller include an aftermarket exhaust system, window tint, clear front turn signals, tinted taillights, and an iPd oil pan skid plate. Volvo introduced the 850 R in 1996 after the vaunted T5-R was retired the previous year. It came equipped with a turbocharged five-cylinder and was available in both sedan and estate versions, with all the plush comfort and safety standards the Swedish marque had come to be known for. We only got the automatic transmission here in America, and the model was discontinued after just two model years.Power comes from a turbocharged and intercooled 2.3-liter DOHC inline-5, rated at 240 horsepower and 243 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the front wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission.
