2014 Subaru BRZ, finished in Dark Gray Metallic with a black interior. Substantially modified, this BRZ is powered by a 6.3-liter LS6 V8 reportedly sourced from a wrecked 2003 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and equipped with 75-mm BorgWarner turbocharger. It's bolted to a 6-speed manual transmission made by Infiniti. Other modifications include a Holley Terminator X ECU, a fender-mounted exhaust outlet, 17-inch ROTA wheels, Tein Mono Sport coilovers, brakes from a Cadillac CTS-V, and a RJS Racing Equipment parachute. The full list of aftermarket parts installed on this car is below. One of the few factory parts left on this BRZ is the passenger-side front seat.Developed jointly by Toyota and Subaru, the first-generation BRZ was introduced for the 2013 model year. It was instantly celebrated as a reasonably affordable (and, as this build shows, highly tunable) coupe with excellent handling. It remained in production with a Subaru-sourced flat-4 engine — never with a turbo, let alone with a V8 — until late 2020, when it passed the torch to the second-generation model.Power comes from a 6.3-liter turbocharged V8, rated at 405 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque when left stock and naturally-aspirated. The modifications very likely increase those figures, but a dyno sheet is not available. It spins the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
