2002 BMW M3 Convertible, finished in Steel Blue Metallic with a dark blue soft top and a black interior. In addition to exterior paint from the BMW Individual catalog, factory equipment includes 18-inch wheels, fog lights, a power-operated soft top, leather upholstery, power-adjustable front sport seats, a HiFi sound system, and rear parking sensors. The only modification reported by the seller is a set of halo rings in the headlights.Released for the 2001 model year, the third-generation M3 was based on the "E46" 3 Series but several performance-oriented improvements set the M variant apart. BMW notably gave the M3 a naturally-aspirated straight-6 engine, a completely redesigned suspension system, and a quicker steering system. Styling revisions gave it a more muscular design that nonetheless remained relatively subtle.Power comes from a 3.2-liter "S54" straight-6 engine, rated at 333 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. It spins the rear wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission linked to a pair of shift paddles.
