2002 BMW M5, finished in Carbon Black Metallic with a black Heritage full-leather interior. This M5 is equipped with wood interior trim, heated and power-adjustable front seats, Alcantara upholstery on the headliner, rain-sensing windshield wipers, BMW M Audio, and a navigation system, among other features.Service records confirm the thermostat, the ABS control unit, the Servotronic control unit, several hoses, and the sunroof assembly are among the parts replaced since 2019. The seat cables were repaired, too, and the air conditioning system was recharged.Modifications made to this M5 include a remapped ECU, fuel injectors from ECS Tuning, a lighter flywheel, and a lighter clutch. It's also fitted with a Sirius Radio module and a Mark IV navigation computer.Celebrated by many enthusiasts as the best of its breed, the "E39"-generation M5 made its American debut for the 2000 model year. It was the first BMW M model equipped with a V8 engine, and it was exclusively offered with a 6-speed manual transmission. Car & Driver crowned it "the most desirable sedan in the world" in 2000.BMW gave the M5 a facelift in 2001. It added the now-famous "Halo" headlights, Celis rear lights, redesigned fog lights, a new-look steering wheel, gray instrument gauges, and a 16:9 navigation display, among other features. Revised VANOS accumulators and piston rings were fitted starting in early 2000, and automatic headlights were added for the 2002 model year. This M5 has all of the aforementioned updates.Power comes from the "S62" 4.9-liter V8, which produces 394 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque when left stock. The output of this M5 may be higher due to some of its modifications, but a dyno sheet wasn't provided to confirm. The V8 spins the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
