2016 Chevrolet Express 3500, finished in Summit White with a Medium Pewter interior. This Express was converted from rear-wheel drive to four-wheel drive, reportedly using a Quigley Motor Company kit. Other modifications reported by the seller include ARB front and rear air lockers, a roof rack-mounted solar panel, 18-inch Method wheels, King Shock Technology parts in the suspension system, rock rails, a Fiamma awning, a ProAir air conditioning system, a Pioneer touchscreen, and KICKER parts in the sound system. It's equipped with the Convenience Package, an engine block heater, remote keyless entry, heated and power-adjustable door mirrors, air conditioning, and a high-idle switch, among other features.Chevrolet released the Express for 1996 to replace the Van, which had joined the line-up in the 1970s. New from the ground up, the Express benefitted from numerous improvements including a more spacious interior achieved by moving the front wheels forward by about 10 inches; this reduced the amount of space taken up by the engine in the cabin. The Express has received several updates since its launch, and it's somewhat astonishingly still part of the Chevrolet range in 2022.Power comes from a 6.6-liter "Duramax" turbodiesel V8, rated at 260 horsepower and 525 lb-ft of torque. It spins the four wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission and a 2-speed transfer case.
