1991 BMW 850i, finished in Brilliant Red with a beige interior. Factory equipment includes pop-up headlights, a sunroof, leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, a power-adjustable steering column, air conditioning, and a cassette player. This car's build sheet is pictured in the gallery, and modifications reported by the seller are limited to the car phone being removed, felt upholstery in the car phone's compartment, and Audison parts in the sound system. Called E31 internally, the first-generation 8 Series slotted at the top of the BMW range when it arrived for 1991. It was bigger and more luxurious than the 6 Series it took the torch from, and it was initially only offered with a V12 shared with the 7 Series. Production for the American market ended in 1997, and the 8 Series nameplate laid dormant until BMW resurrected it for 2019.Power comes from a 5.0-liter V12, rated at 296 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. Called "M70" internally, it spins the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.
