2005 Smart Fortwo Cabrio, finished in Phat Red and silver with a black soft top and a Bungee Grey interior. This Fortwo is a European-spec convertible. Originally imported new and converted to U.S. standards by G&K Auto Conversion in 2006, this Smart is equipped with an imperial instrument cluster, and the odometer currently displays approximately 9,700 miles. According to the build sheet provided in the gallery, factory equipment includes 15-inch wheels, fog lights, a 2-stage power-operated soft top, removable roof beams, cloth upholstery, air conditioning, and more as listed below. Modifications reported by the seller are limited to a Sony head unit. Originally conceived as a joint venture between Swatch and Volkswagen, the Smart project eventually landed under the guidance of Daimler-Benz and began production in 1998. It featured staggered seating for two, a rear-mounted engine, a small cargo area behind the seats, and a length of just over eight feet.Power is provided by a turbocharged 0.7-liter inline-3, rated at 60 horsepower and 70 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed automated manual transmission.
