It offered better handling, a revised interior, and a wide range of V6 and V8 engines. 1996 brought a hand-assembled 4.6-liter "Modular" V8 to the Cobra model, and production ended in 2004.Power comes from a 4.6-liter V8, rated at 305 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque when left stock and naturally-aspirated. The seller states that the supercharger increases horsepower to approximately 450, but a dyno sheet is not available. The engine spins the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
