2001 Toyota Tacoma Regular Cab, finished in Lunar Mist Metallic with a Charcoal interior. A build sheet is provided in the photo gallery, and a partial list of factory equipment includes double wishbone independent front suspension, double wall cargo bed with hooks, cloth upholstery, and air conditioning. The only modifications reported by the selling dealer are a fiberglass bed topper and side window deflectors.Toyota split its global pickup range into two model lines when it released the original Tacoma in 1995. Developed for and built in America, it was a more leisure-oriented model than the work-focused Hilux that soldiered on overseas. The line-up included 2- and 4-wheel-drive models plus a regular or an extended cab. Production ended in 2005.Power comes from a 2.4-liter inline-4 engine, rated at 142 horsepower and 160 lb-ft of torque. Output is directed to the rear wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission.
