1990 Ford Ranger, finished in white with a blue interior. Factory equipment on this Ranger includes the optional 2.9-liter V6 engine, a 7-foot bed, air conditioning, and an over rail bedliner with a tailgate cover. Modifications are limited to a camper shell over the bed, a Pioneer head unit, and a Freon air conditioning conversion.Introduced to the North American market for the 1983 model year, the Ford Ranger was the first compact pickup truck designed by Ford, replacing the Mazda-produced Ford Courier. The first generation Ranger featured a facelift in 1989 to resemble the bigger F-Series, and rear antilock brakes were installed on all models.Power comes from a 2.9-liter V6 engine, rated at 140 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.
