Available as a coupe, cabriolet, and Targa, and with rear- or all-wheel drive, the 993 was an evolution of the 964 it replaced, with a more modern look and redesigned rear suspension system.Power comes from a 3.6-liter air-cooled flat-6, rated at 282 horsepower and 243 lb-ft of torque when left stock. This engine may be making more power as a result of being bored out to 3.8-liters and the modifications, though a dyno sheet is not included. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-Speed manual transmission.
