This is a beautiful 1972 Mercedes 280SEL 4.5 (floor shift) finished in Autumn Beige over a cognac leather interior. These old 280SE/SELs are some of the best-looking Mercedes models ever built in my opinion. The double-stacked front headlights, the curvaceous shape, and the tiny rear taillights all add up to create a truly stunning vehicle. Seemingly endless things were done to this vehicle to make it run and drive like it did when it rolled off the showroom in 1972. The previous owner had the car re-painted, re-upholstered interior, brakes rebuilt, new shocks, and put an aftermarket radio/stereo system in it.
