2001 BMW Z8, finished in black with body-colored hardtop, a black soft top, and a red and black interior. The factory tonneau cover and wind deflector are shown in the gallery as well and included in the sale.Modifications reported by the seller are limited to engine software, a cold-air intake system, throttle bodies, and headers from Dinan as well as a BMW Performance brace.The engine oil and filter, the engine air filters, the brake fluid, the coolant, and the cabin air filter were changed in December 2021.BMW's retro-styled Z8 famously starred in the 1999 James Bond movie "The World is Not Enough" before being let loose on American roads. Inspired by the 507, it arrived as a two-seater roadster with gorgeous proportions, aluminum construction, and a 50:50 weight distribution. It was positioned at the top of the BMW range and never envisioned as a volume model. Precisely 5,703 units were built, according to the firm's archives department, and 2,543 of those were sent to America from 2000 to 2003.Power comes from a 4.9-liter "S62" V8, rated at 394 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. Shared with the "E39" M5, it spins the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
