1992 Mitsubishi Galant AMG Type 1, finished in Schloss Silver Metallic with a gray interior. This is a right-hand-drive, Japanese-spec car. Reportedly imported from Japan in May 2019, it's equipped with a metric instrument cluster and its odometer displays about 111,500 kilometers, which represents approximately 69,300 miles. This Galant is equipped with the desirable 5-speed manual transmission. Factory equipment includes 15-inch wheels, an AMG-specific body kit, a rear wiper, wood interior trim, suede-like upholstery, AMG-branded front sport seats, plus cassette and CD players, among other features. The only modification reported by the seller is a RalliArt emblem on the grille. Mitsubishi unexpectedly joined forces with AMG, which was an independent company at the time, to create a sportier version of the sixth-generation Galant. Released in 1989, and positioned below the rally-bred VR-4, the sedan gained upgrades like a specific engine fitted with redesigned camshafts and pistons, a sportier-looking body kit, and a more upscale interior. AMG never tuned another Mitsubishi.556 units of the Galant AMG Type 1 were built, according to the seller, including 289 fitted with a 5-speed manual. 839 units of the Type 2 were produced. Galant production ended in 1994.Power comes from a 2.0-liter "4G63" 4-cylinder engine, rated at 168 horsepower and 141 lb-ft of torque. Tuned by AMG, it spins the front wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
