2005 Saab 9-2X Aero, finished in Brilliant Red with a black and Parchment interior. This Saab is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission. According to the window sticker pictured in the photo gallery, this 9-2X carried a sticker price of $28,245 and came equipped with the Cold Weather Package, 17-inch wheels, a sunroof, two-tone leather upholstery, automatic climate control, cruise control, a premium AM/FM 6-CD audio system, and more as detailed below. A partial list of modifications reported by the seller includes Fortune Auto 500 coilovers, a Whiteline roll center adjuster kit, Perrin rear sway bar and endlinks, Subaru WRX 4-piston front/2-piston rear brake calipers, StopTech brake rotors and stainless brake lines, Hawk brake pads, a BPM catback exhaust system, rolled fenders, and a Pioneer touchscreen head unit.Launched for the 2005 model year, the 9-2X was a badge-engineered Subaru Impreza created to give Saab an entry into the premium small car segment. Linear models (later called 2.5i) were closely related to the Impreza, but the range-topping Aero was a WRX in Swedish clothes. Production ended in 2006, and Saab chose not to replace the hatchback.Power comes from a turbocharged 2.0-liter flat-4, rated at 227 horsepower and 217 lb-ft. of torque in stock form. Due to the modifications performed, this engine may produce more power, but a dyno sheet was not provided to confirm. Output is sent to all four wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission and a Subaru-developed permanent all-wheel drive system.
