1998 Dodge Ram 2500HD Quad Cab Laramie SLT, finished in Metallic Red and Light Driftwood Satin Glow two-tone with a Mist Gray cloth interior. This Ram 2500 appears in the new-for-1998 Quad Cab configuration, with rear-hinged back doors and a three-seat bench. Additional equipment includes a trailer tow group and hitch, air conditioning, and an Infinity CD stereo, among other features. The Ram was first sold by Wilson Motors of Corvallis, Oregon. According to the selling dealer, the catalytic converters were replaced in July 2020 and new BFGoodrich tires have been installed.The "big rig" Ram caused a huge stir when it debuted for the 1995 model year, and its impact continues to be felt 25 years later. The 2500-series trucks use a beefier chassis and could be had with the hefty V10, like this one.This Ram uses a Viper-related 8.0-liter V10, which produces 300 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip rear differential.
