On top of a muscular naturally-aspirated V10 engine, its differences compared to the standard 5 Series included a head-up display, flared front guards with cooling vents, quad-tip exhaust, and a wider track. It was the final M5 to be naturally aspirated, and it remains a favorite among enthusiasts.Power for this E60 comes from an "S85" 5.0-liter V10, which produces 500 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. The engine spins the rear wheels via a 7-speed SMG-III automatic transmission.
