2001 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG, finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic with an Anthracite and Condor interior. Factory equipment includes 18-inch AMG Monoblock wheels, an AMG-specific body kit, a sunroof, wood interior trim, two-tone leather upholstery, heated and power-adjustable multi-contour front seats, and a Bose sound system, according to a build sheet shown in the gallery. Modifications are limited to clear side marker lights.The W210-generation E-Class was introduced for the 1996 model year as a major stylistic departure from the decade-old W124 model that preceded it. Instead of the boxy design and rectangular headlights of its predecessor, the W210 gained a curvier front end with four elliptical headlamps and more rounded lines. The range-topping E55 AMG was available between the 1999 and 2002 model years and it featured a subtle AMG body kit, a sportier suspension system, and a powerful V8 engine.Power comes from a 5.4-liter V8, rated at 349 horsepower and 391 lb-ft of torque. Called M113 internally, it spins the rear wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission.
