The wagon benefitted from a 2.5-liter flat-4 engine related to the unit that powered the WRX STI and detuned to 210 horsepower, which was a significant improvement over the standard Forester, and a number of specific accents inside and out (like a hood scoop). It kept the all-wheel-drive system that buyers expected from a Subaru and it remained as practical as the naturally-aspirated variants.Power comes from a 2.5-liter turbocharged flat-4, rated at 320 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque to the wheels according to a dyno sheet pictured in the gallery.
