1995 Mazda Bongo Friendee, finished in Bordeaux with Silent Silver lower trim and a gray interior. This Bongo is a Japanese-spec, right-hand drive van. Reportedly imported from Japan in August 2022, it’s equipped with a metric instrument cluster and the odometer currently displays approximately 143,000 kilometers, which represents about 88,900 miles. Factory equipment includes an Auto Free Top power-operated pop-top, a rear spoiler, cloth upholstery, folding second- and third-row seating, air conditioning, and more as listed below. Modifications reported by the selling dealer are limited to a set of 15-inch aftermarket wheels, a brush guard with PIAA Super 4x4 auxiliary lights, window rain guards, and an Eclipse head unit. Mazda introduced the Bongo Friendee in 1995 as an 8-seater minivan that could be ordered with four-wheel drive, a turbodiesel engine, a manual or automatic transmission, and an available pop-top with an optional kitchen. Flat-roofed models were also available, as were two-wheel drive variants along with a gas-powered engine. They were primarily sold in the Japanese and U.K. markets.Power comes from a 2.5-liter turbodiesel inline-4, rated at 120 horsepower and 228 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to all four wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.
