1981 Chevrolet Corvette Berlina ReplicaKit Makes. The Phillips Berlina is a neo-classic car built at the Phillips Motor Car Company in Pampano Beach Florida. It was built to resemble a 1936 Mercedes Benz 540K Roadster. One of 180 built using a brand new C3 Corvette as a donor car. Produced from 1980-82 ending production when the new C4 Corvette was introduced. The Phillips Berlina is not a kit car. It sold as a new car with a factory warranty from Chevrolet and Phillips through a limited number of participating Chevrolet dealers.It runs and drives as it should with no drama. The tires, brakes and front brake calipers have less than 150 miles All the gauges, power windows, radio, heater, A/C and lights are operational.
