2014 Volkswagen GTI Wolfsburg Edition, finished in Carbon Steel Gray with an Interlagos interior. This GTI is equipped with the desirable 6-speed manual transmission. A build sheet is provided in the photo gallery, and a partial list of notable equipment includes 18-inch "Laguna" wheels, red-painted brake calipers, Interlagos cloth upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Bluetooth connectivity, and more as listed below. Modifications to this GTI are limited to a Performance By IE stage 1 ECU tune. The GTI has long been the performance flagship of the Volkswagen lineup. The sixth-generation model bowed in 2008 and improved upon its predecessor with a much nicer interior. 2-door versions were offered in the vein of the original GTI, though they are much less common than the 4-door models.This GTI is powered by an "EA888" 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, rated at 200 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque in stock form. According to Performance By IE, their stage 1 ECU software bumps power to approximately 257 horsepower and 315 lb-ft of torque at the crankshaft, but a dyno sheet was not provided to confirm. Output is sent to the front wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
