Factory equipment includes 17-inch alloy wheels, a limited slip differential, a power sunroof, Alcantara and leather-trimmed upholstery, heated and power-adjustable front seats, an 8-speaker audio system, and more as detailed below.The sole modification performed to this IS 300 is the installation of a Pioneer head unit When Lexus came to take on the space dominated by the BMW 3-series, it equipped the IS 300 model, with the stout 3-liter inline-6 from the non-turbo Toyota Supra, a compact rear-drive platform, and an automatic transmission. The IS 300 was also available as a 5-door hatchback/sport wagon.Power comes from a "2JZ-GE" 3.0-liter inline-6, which produces 215 horsepower and 218 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission.
