Description del vehiculo

1990 Mercedes-Benz 560SEC, finished in Arctic White with a Stone Pine Green interior. The window sticker pictured in the gallery notes that this SEC cost $84,065 new (about $182,500 in 2022). Factory equipment includes 15-inch wheels, headlight wipers, a sunroof, leather upholstery, heated and power-adjustable front seats with orthopedic seatbacks, air conditioning, and a high-performance sound system. The only modification reported by the seller is a VR3 VRVD640G head unit.Service records shown in the gallery detail some of the repairs and maintenance performed on this 560SEC during the seller's ownership. The list of parts replaced in 2021 includes the ignition coil, the spark plugs, the idle control unit, the idle air valve, the timing chain, and the timing chain guides, and the fuel distributor was rebuilt.Known as the C126 internally, the SEC was launched for the 1983 model year as the W126's coupe counterpart. While buyers in America were initially asked to settle for the 155-horsepower 380 model, Europeans could order the 500 variant that offered a more powerful engine, and the power disparity helped fuel a lucrative gray market. 500 sedans and coupes finally arrived in America for 1984, and both body styles gained an even bigger V8 for 1986. SEC sales ended after the 1991 model year.Power comes from a 5.5-liter V8, rated at 238 horsepower and 287 lb-ft of torque. Called "M117" internally, it spins the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.
