Finished in blue with a gray interior. This Cherokee is heavily modified with features including a small-block Chevrolet V8, custom-fabricated headers, an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor, 17-inch Dick Cepek alloy wheels, 42-inch Super Swamper Irok tires, 4-wheel coil springs with adjustable, long-travel shocks, a custom suspension sub-frame with control and location arms, trussed axles, Warn front locking hubs, a custom paint wrap, tube brush guard with auxiliary lighting, and more as detailed below. The "XJ" Cherokee has long been respected by the 4x4 community for its longevity and off-road capability. Produced from 1983 until 2001 in both three and five-door configurations along with a variety of engine and drive-line combinations, the XJ was labeled as one of the 20 greatest cars of all time by Automobile magazine. Power comes from a Chevrolet 5.7-liter V8. Output is routed to all four wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission and 2-speed transfer case.
