2005 Ford GT, finished in Mark IV Red with an Ebony interior. It's a four-option car equipped with 18-inch front and 19-inch rear lightweight forged aluminum wheels, red brake calipers, painted racing stripes, HID headlights, leather upholstery, and a McIntosh CD player, among other features.Modifications reported by the seller include a smaller supercharger pulley and a Ford Racing exhaust system. This GT's rear bumper has been removed as well.An invoice pictured in the gallery shows that Rich Brooks performed a major service on this GT in September 2021. The fluids, spark plugs, and tires were notably changed. This GT also received a $16,623 detailing service in June 2022.Ford rekindled its rivalry with Ferrari when it rebooted the GT for 2005. Inspired by the Le Mans-winning GT40, the limited-production coupe represented America in the supercar segment with a heritage-laced design, a driver-focused interior, and a mid-mounted supercharged V8 engine. Around 4,000 units were built, and Ford retired the GT nameplate until it launched the second-generation model for 2017.Power comes from a 5.4-liter supercharged V8, rated at 550 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque when left stock. The modifications could increase those figures but a dyno sheet is not available. The engine spins the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transaxle.
