It's equipped with pop-up headlights, a rear spoiler, a sunroof, leather upholstery, plus front and rear air conditioning systems, among other features.Originally developed to replace the 911, the 928 made its American debut for the 1978 model year. It looked nothing like its intended predecessor, it adopted a completely different engine layout, and Porsche relied on aluminum components to keep weight in check. Horsepower grew on a regular basis during the 1980s while several design updates characterized later models, and the 928 remained positioned at the top of Porsche's line-up of regular-production cars until it finally retired after the 1995 model year.Power comes from a 5.0-liter V8 engine, rated at 320 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque. It spins the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.
