2009 Smart Fortwo, finished in Silver Metallic with a gray interior. Modifications reported by the seller include 15-inch wheels, Falken WildPeak all-terrain tires, a 3-inch suspension lift kit, a bull bar, a Smittybilt XRC 3.0 winch, wheel arch flares, tinted windows, and a Kenwood CD player. Some of the removed factory parts are shown in the gallery and included in the sale.Factory equipment includes a Brabus-specific exhaust system, fog lights, a panoramic roof panel, leather and cloth upholstery, heated seats, and Brabus-specific brushed-aluminum pedals.Initially planned as a joint-venture between Swatch and Volkswagen, the Smart project was ultimately brought to the market by Mercedes-Benz. The original Fortwo entered production in 1998, and the second-generation model went on sale in the United States for the 2008 model year with a longer wheelbase and a more angular exterior design. It retained its predecessor's tiny footprint, two-seater interior, and rear-mounted engine. Production ended in 2014.Power comes from a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder engine, rated at 70 horsepower and 68 lb-ft of torque. It spins the rear wheels via a 5-speed automated-manual transmission.
