1978 Pontiac Trans Am Coupe Black RWD Manual hobnail cloth. is an original Z code Pontiac W72 400 / 4 speed car with Fisher T-tops, hobnail cloth interior, a functional (!) AM/FM 8 track, 3.42 Safe-T-Track rear, snowflake wheels, and a plethora of other features. It’s an original factory black car that had Y84 SE (aka Bandit Edition) graphics added to it. The engine is in fantastic shape. I’ve driven the car hundreds of miles even in the summer, and gotten caught in traffic. It never ran hot nor skipped a beat. It’s basically stock save for an aluminum intake, headers, a cam and valve covers. The Borg Warner Super T-10 transmission has been rebuilt. Clutch and synchros are smooth and function perfectly. The suspension is tight, the T-tops fit snugly, seals have been replaced, the front end and steering are tight as that was rebuilt as needed as well. The lights work, the wipers work, the turn signals work, the heater works and it even has a new heater core, so no musty smells. No cracks in any of the glass. All the glass lines up well as do the panels. Shaker hood sits correctly.
