2006 Cadillac XLR-V, finished in Black Raven with a Shale interior. Factory equipment on this XLR-V includes a retractable hardtop, and brakes borrowed from the C6 Corvette Z51, a head-up display, navigation system, and a Bose premium audio system.Modifications to this Cadillac include a Corsa cat-back exhaust system and a WindRestrictor wind deflector.Released for 2003, the XLR brought Cadillac back to the roadster segment after a long hiatus. It was related to the sixth-generation Chevrolet Corvette, and the two models were built in the same facility, but it arrived as a more cruising-oriented drop-top with a power-folding hardtop and a "Northstar" V8. The high-performance V model came with a supercharged V8 borrowed from the STS-V and upgrades to the brakes, transmission, and exhaust.Power comes from a 4.4-liter supercharged "Northstar" V8, rated at 443 horsepower and 414 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission.
