1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442, finished in Nightshade Blue Metallic with a gray interior. A build sheet is provided in the photo gallery, and a partial list of notable equipment includes: power operated seats and windows, air conditioning, cruise control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a performance-tuned suspension. Modifications to this Cutlass are extensive, and a full list is included below. include a swapped 6.0-liter V8 complete with rebuilt heads and a stage 1 cam, rebuilt 4L80e transmission with button-operated manual shifting, upgraded shocks and a lowered suspension, and a Dakota digital dash. Additionally, the vehicle was repainted in Porsche's Nightshade Blue Metallic, and fitted with a complete aftermarket audio system.Oldsmobile was one of the best selling brands in America in the 1980s, and the Cutlass coupe was seemingly everywhere. The performance-oriented 442 trim was added for 1985, and only 3,000 were built for the first year. All came in two-tone with a Silver Metallic lower body separated by a gold accent stripe, and 4-4-2 emblems as well as 15-inch gold/chrome wheels completed the visual upgrades. This modified 442 retains the signature styling elements, including gold striping, two-tone paint, and gold accents with Oldsmobile center caps on the upsized wheels.Power comes from a 6.0-liter "LQ9" V8 engine, which produces 345 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission. Due to the modifications performed to this 442, it may produce more power, but a dyno sheet was not provided to confirm.
