It's equipped with the Executive and Lighting packages, a carbon fiber roof panel, carbon fiber interior trim, leather and cloth upholstery, heated and power-adjustable front sport seats, shift paddles, a Harman Kardon surround sound system, and a navigation system, among other features.Modifications reported by the seller include a Dinan "Stage 3" tune, carbon fiber air intake system, and stainless-steel exhaust system, 19-inch Beyern wheels, KW automotive Clubsport coilovers, a StopTech big brake kit, a Vorsteiner carbon fiber front splitter, ceramic tint on the windows, and a hardwired ESCORT radar detector. BMW surfed the downsizing wave sweeping across the industry by replacing the naturally-aspirated V8 with a twin-turbocharged straight-6, and a significant torque increase accompanied the new engine. Chopping off two cylinders and replacing metal bits with carbon fiber components allowed BMW to make the M4 up to 176 pounds lighter than the M3 it replaced. Production ended in 2020.Power comes from a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged straight-6, rated at 425 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque when left stock. The modifications might increase those figures but a dyno sheet is not available. Called "S55" internally, it spins the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
