Finished in Redline Red with a black leather interior. The odometer now shows approximately 45,000 miles. Service in late summer 2020 included preventative maintenance work including installation of an ABS heat shield and replacement of the shifter cable bushings and radiator fan, as well as an air conditioning system service.The retro-style SSR was based on the contemporary TrailBlazer, albeit with styling that recalls the 1947-53 Chevy pickups and a folding metal convertible top. After a short 2003 model year, the SSR became a standard production model in 2004.Power comes from a 5.3-liter V8 engine, which produces 300 horsepower and 331 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.
