1998 Lotus Esprit V8, finished in Calypso Red with a Raffia interior. This coupe's odometer displays about 26,400 miles. Factory equipment includes 17-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, pop-up headlights, a rear wing, a removable sunroof, leather upholstery with red piping, an Alpine sound system, and air conditioning.Modifications reported by the seller include a Lotus Esprit V8 Final Edition tail panel with round taillights, a Lotus Esprit V8 Final Edition center-outlet exhaust exit, and a Larini Systems exhaust system. The factory exhaust system is included in the sale.Lotus released the Esprit in 1976 and made numerous design and mechanical updates to the model over the next 28 years. Peter Stevens gave it a less angular exterior design in 1988, power steering became standard in 1994, and the 1997 model year brought a twin-turbocharged V8 (the first in the Esprit's history) designed in-house.
