2000 Porsche Boxster, finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with a black soft top and a Boxster Red "Special Leather" interior. Factory equipment includes 17-inch wheels with colored Porsche crests, a power-operated soft top, power-adjustable seats, 6-speaker hi-fi sound system, and a wind deflector. Modifications are limited to the installation of Bilstein shocks, seat heaters, and an aftermarket head unit.Called "986" internally, the original Boxster was introduced for the 1997 model year as Porsche's long-awaited entry-level model. It was immediately well-received by enthusiasts; some even called it a better platform than the 911 thanks to its mid-mounted engine.Power comes from a mid-mounted 2.7-liter flat-6, rated at 217 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission.
