2000 Porsche Boxster S, finished in Ocean Blue Metallic with a Metropol Blue soft top and a Graphite Gray interior. This Boxster is fitted with the desirable 6-speed manual transmission, and the odometer currently displays about 45,200 miles. Modifications are limited to an LN Engineering IMS bearing kit and a wired phone connector routed through the center console.Called "986" internally, the first-generation Boxster was introduced for 1997 as Porsche's long-awaited entry-level model. It was immediately well-received by driving enthusiasts; some even called it a better overall platform than the 911 thanks to its mid-mounted engine. In hindsight, it's one of the cars that saved Porsche from an uncertain fate. 2000 brought the S variant, which received a more powerful engine and a firmer suspension.
