1987 Toyota Supra Turbo, finished in Pearl White with a blue cloth interior. The Supra name already enjoyed a stellar reputation by the time the third-generation model arrived in 1986. Called A70 internally, it received a more powerful naturally-aspirated engine (forced induction was added later) plus styling revisions inside and out. Unlike the Celica line that it split from, it kept its rear-wheel-drive layout.1987 was the first year for the Supra Turbo, which put the car in a new class of performance competitive with the likes of the Chevrolet Corvette, Porsche 944 Turbo, and Mazda RX-7 Turbo.Power for this Supra Turbo comes from a "7M-GTE" DOHC turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-6 engine, which produces 230 horsepower and 246 lb-ft of torque. It powers the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.
