The AMG variant was introduced for the 2001 model year and features more aggressive front and rear bumpers, larger brakes, and of course, an AMG-tuned engine that boasts a supercharger and a water-to-air intercooler.Only 1,182 SLK32 AMGs were imported to the U.S. for 2002, and a total of 4,333 were produced worldwide through 2004.Power comes from an “M112” 3.2-liter supercharged V6, rated at 349 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque.
