Product Details

1989 Laforza, finished in Monterosso Red with a black leather interior. The speedometer unit has been replaced with an aftermarket part, and while the factory odometer was reportedly functioning when it was pulled (showing 140,00 miles), its replacement shows approximately 400 miles. Equipment includes 16-inch wheels, a sunroof, leather upholstery, wood interior trim, power front seats, front and rear air conditioning, and more as detailed below. A partial list of modifications reported by the seller include a 5.8-liter V8 Ford Lightning crate engine, a set of Bilstein shocks, and a GM 3/4-ton front brake conversion. The Laforza or "Rayton-Fissore Magnum" — as it was known in other markets — is a luxury-based Italian off-road SUV. Around 1,200 units were sent to the U.S. and were badged as Laforzas. Using a similar ethos as some other Italian manufacturers, they were equipped with traditional Italian leather and wood interiors but powered by Ford engines and transmissions. These trucks also carried a hefty claimed tow rating of 8,000 pounds by way of the hidden hitch receiver.Power comes from a non-factory 5.8-liter V8, rated at 240 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque in stock form. Output is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission and a 2-speed transfer case.
