A window sticker is provided in the photo gallery showing an MSRP of $76,200 when new. A partial list of notable equipment includes 18-inch wheels, Magnetic Ride Control, a power retractable hardtop, leather upholstery, heated and cooled power-adjustable seats, adaptive cruise control, a head-up display, push-button start, a navigation system, a Bose premium audio system, and rear parking sensors. The selling dealer reports no modifications.Released for 2003, the XLR brought Cadillac back to the roadster segment after a long hiatus. It was related to the sixth-generation Chevrolet Corvette, and the two models were built in the same facility, but it arrived as a more cruising-oriented drop-top with a power-folding hardtop and a "Northstar" V8 related to the unit that powered the STS. Production ended in 2009, and Cadillac has steered clear of the convertible segment since. Cadillac built about 15,460 units of the XLR.Power for this XLR comes from a 4.6-liter "Northstar" V8, rated at 320 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission.
