2004 BMW X5 4.8is, finished in Imola Red with a black leather interior. The odometer shows approximately 39,500 miles. Equipped with 20-inch chrome Style 168 wheels, an adjustable ride height air suspension, heated front and rear seats, premium sound with DSP, a sport steering wheel, fine wood interior trim, and a sliding load floor in the cargo area. The only modifications made to this X5 is the removal of the exhaust resonator and the application of Cilajet aviation grade ceramic paint protection. BMW boldly applied its "Ultimate Driving Machine" ethos to an entirely new segment when it released the first-generation X5 for the 2000 model year. Called E53 internally, the X5 was marketed as a sport activity vehicle, not as a sport utility vehicle, and it largely lived up to this designation by offering surprising performance given its size. - The 4.8is model was launched in 2004 as the range-topping X5. It offered more power than the 4.6is it replaced, the same huge brakes, and a long list of standard features.Power for this X5 comes from a 4.8-liter V8, rated at 355 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to all four wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission.
