The list of modifications made includes 16-inch wheels, a "Medallion Series" body kit, an RV electrical outlet, a Sport roof, 6-way power-adjustable swiveling second-row seats, tray tables in the front seatbacks, a rear air conditioning system, a 29-inch Samsung television, and an on-board generator. Factory equipment includes a locking rear differential, a trailer hitch, heated and power-adjustable door mirrors, cruise control, and a rear-view camera.GMC released the Savana for 1996 to replace the Vandura, which had joined the line-up for 1971. New from the ground up, and closely related to the Chevrolet Express, the Savana benefitted from numerous improvements including a more spacious interior achieved by moving the front wheels forward by about 10 inches; this reduced the amount of space taken up by the engine in the cabin. The Savana has received several updates since its launch, and it's somewhat surprisingly still part of the GMC range in 2022.Power comes from a 6.0-liter "Vortec" V8, rated at 342 horsepower and 373 lb-ft of torque. It spins the rear wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission.
