This Range Rover HSE was factory-equipped with a sunroof, leather upholstery, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a navigation system, rear climate control, and a Harman/Kardon sound system. Off-road equipment includes a 2-speed transfer case and Land Rover's Terrain Response traction control system.The L322-generation Range Rover was designed under BMW's brief stewardship of Land Rover, and it represented a massive change from previous models. It utilizes partial unit-body construction, independent front and rear suspensions with air springs, and plenty of BMW switchgear and mechanical components. Changes for 2006 however included a switch to Ford-sourced engines, an updated chassis, a redesigned front end, better sound insulation, and a new infotainment system.Power comes from a 4.4-liter V8 engine, rated at 305 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission and a 2-speed transfer case.
