2001 Saab 9-3 Viggen convertible, finished in black with a black top and a black leather interior.This 9-3 Viggen features the desirable 5-speed manual transmission, and the odometer shows approximately 80,900 miles. Factory equipment includes a power-folding convertible top, leather upholstery, power-adjustable and heated front seats with driver's side memory settings, automatic climate control, front and rear stabilizer bars, and 4-wheel disc brakes, among other standard and optional features. Modifications are limited to an aftermarket head unit, and an aftermarket anti-theft device. Saab introduced the first generation 9-3 for the 1999 model year as a replacement for the old 900 series. The "9400" generation 9-3 was available as a 3- or 5-door hatchback, or as a convertible. Saab also offered the high-performance "Viggen" (Swedish for "Thunderbolt") model named for the Saab 37 Viggen aircraft, producing 4,600 Viggen models between all three body styles from 1999 and 2002.Power comes from a 2.3-liter turbocharged inline-4, rated at 230 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
