2002 Factory Five MKII Roadster, finished in Titanium Poly with a black interior. Street-legal this is a composite-bodied replica of the Shelby Cobra that was reportedly built by Arizona-based Levy Racing using a Factory Five Racing kit. This kit car was built with 17-inch ROH Black Ice wheels, a coilover suspension system, Wilwood Engineering parts in the braking system, a Jones Machine Racing Products power steering system, "four into four" side-mounted exhaust pipes, and a roll hoop, among other equipment.Founded in 1995, Massachusetts-based Factory Five Racing specializes in making kit cars for enthusiasts who want to build their own classic from the ground up. Its catalog includes replicas of the Shelby Cobra and the Shelby Daytona plus several hot rods with a 1930s-like design. Kits are delivered unpainted and without a drivetrain so buyers are free to finish and customize their car as they see fit.Power comes from a fuel-injected 5.7-liter V8. The seller pegs its output at 450 horsepower, but a dyno sheet is not available. The engine was also said to be built by Levy Racing, and it spins the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
