Product Details

2001 Ford Excursion Limited 4x4, finished in Toreador Red with a Medium Parchment interior. This SUV is equipped with 16-inch wheels, illuminated running boards, a trailer hitch, leather upholstery, and a third-row bench, among other features.Modifications reported by the seller include an air suspension system on the rear axle, Banks Power gauges on the driver's A-pillar, and a Kenwood eXcelon touchscreen. The full list of aftermarket parts installed on this Excursion is provided below.Released for the 2000 model year, the Excursion still stands proud as the only series-produced SUV that manages to make a Chevrolet Suburban look a little small-boned. It was based on the F-250 Super Duty pickup, as its front end suggested, so it could comfortably carry eight passengers and their gear while towing a Tahoe to Lake Tahoe. Ford positioned the Limited model at the top of the range. Production ended after the 2005 model year.Power comes from a 7.3-liter PowerStroke turbodiesel V8, rated at 250 horsepower and 505 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission, 2-speed transfer case, and manually-locking front hubs.
