Modifications are limited to a muffler delete and tinted windows.Mercedes-Benz introduced the second-generation "C209" CLK for the 2003 model year. It was based on the "W203" C-Class, but its exterior styling brought it in line with the bigger E-Class. AMG's fire-breathing 55 model arrived a little bit later with a V8 engine and a much more muscular design. It was replaced by the "63" for 2007, and CLK sales ended after the 2009 model year. Its spot in the range was filled by the two-door E-Class.Power comes from a hand-built 5.4-liter "M113" V8, rated at 362 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission.
